John Michell has designed this improved counterweight system specifically for the Rega arm - one of the most popular tonearms in the World. The design for this heavy weight came about with the development of the new, favourably reviewed, Michell TecnoArm, with a little persuasion John has made this beautifuly designed and engineered solution available to any Rega RB300 owner. The Michell weight solves all of the major problems of tonearm weight design in one elegant solution. In particular, exact weight position and ajustment. Unlike the other weight upgrades the Michell is the only one to effectively drop the mass in the exact line of the cartridge, what’s more micro, 10th of a gram, adjustments can be made easily with the simple turning of the back section besel. The complete assembly is supplied with two weights, one for lighter cartridges of 3-7gram, and the other for 7grams and over. This is a stunning piece of engineering and at its price point is an absolute bargan and worthwhile upgrade for any Rega arm owner (or Moth or any of the other OEM arms made by Rega)
