These BFA or Cam-con plugs are the connector of choice for much of the hi-fi industry and have more or less replaced the humble 4-mill or banana plug. This plus is actually extremely clever because it can contract to fit in a 4 mill socket or expand to fit in a BFA type connector. Even better it has a deep barrel to take heavy duty cable and secures the cable in via 2 small grub-screws. The bore is such that it can EVEN be used to fit over the end of a 4 mill plug and convert it to BFA. WOW!
