This Atlas Equator II 1.5 M interconnect couples the high purity copper conductors from the famous award winning Equator, to the exclusive Atlas high performance conjugate bracket RCA connectors. 

The asymmetrical unbalanced cable has concentric 99.99997% pure OFC copper multi-stranded conductors in a low loss foamed polyethylene dielectric. The cable is double shielded with close lapped pure OFC copper multi-stranded screening, providing 100% coverage for the complete avoidance of RFI. 

The cable is protected by a hard wearing outer sheath in PVC finished in a pearl white colour. The overall diametre is 8.5mm and the cable is terminated at each end with the new patented design of RCA plug that has two conjugate brackets that extend over the conductors, thereby shielding them from any external noise. These brackets which carry the return signal path, self clean using four assymetrical sprung leaves, which spread and wipe the surface of the socket when inserted, thereby cleaning the contact area. These plugs are matched to the cable diameter and grip the cable without the usual physical distortion of the cable that causes subtle distortion of the signal. By contrast the new Atlas RCA plug grips the cable without any compression and hence changes to the transmission characteristics.

In common with all Atlas interconnects, the new Equator Superior interconnect gives the listener the benefit of a sophisticated and relaxing sound with no artificial high or lows together with more definition from the improved Atlas non compressing RCA plug.
