Most turntables suffer from vibration caused by footfall. This can reveal itself in loss of information or the stylus bouncing across the groove, damaging the record and the stylus.

Mounting the turntable on the wall is an excellent way to decouple the turntable from harmfull vibration.

This is one of the simplest and the best. It is perfect size for most turntables and has a glass shelf supported by spikes from the frame.
