Cyrus builds everything in the same legendary Cyrus chassis. This has emerged as a true icon in the audio world… understated yet undeniably stylish. The `classic` Cyrus die-cast chassis is formed under enormous pressure and, once cooled, is hand-finished before the final surface is applied. The unique casting forms a strong and technically valuable enclosure that ensures our products are destined to endure.
The Cyrus amplifier platform is largely responsible for the reputation that Cyrus have. Cyrus amplifiers are all built around one platform. The Cyrus 6xp is basically a scaled down Cyrus 8xpd and can later be upgraded to the 8 by a return to the factory upgrade. The Cyrus 8xpd can also be upgraded to the 8xpdqx by the addition of an improved DAC card. By offering digital inputs on many of their amplifiers, Cyrus have built a product totally at one with the digital age and in particular with Digital Streaming.

Another stalwart from the Cyrus Hi-Fi range is the Cyrus PSX-R. This is essentially an upgraded, super-smooth power supply and mains filter. Many Cyrus components have a socket that allows the Cyrus PSX-R to be added as a later upgrade and this offers substantial upgrade potential that is clearly audible.
One of the most exciting Cyrus Audio products in recent years has been the SE CD player platform. This was an attempt to extract the most information possible from a compact disc by the use of special software. The advantage in performance is substantial and moved the CD player forward in terms of the amount of data that could be read from a CD. There are two CD players in this range; the Cyrus CD6SE, the Cyrus CD8SE and a transport mechanism called the Cyrus CDxtSE+. Each product can be upgraded by a return to the factory; allowing the CD player to improve as the customer wishes.

Pre-Xpd
The Cyrus Pre-Xpd is a high performance pre-amplifier with coaxial, optical and USB digital inputs as well as the usual analogue inputs. This product can also be upgraded by the addition of Cyrus PSX-R and also a QX inproved digital to analogue decoder (DAC).
DAC-X+
The Cyrus DAC X+ is the first and best digital to analogue decoder in the Cyrus Audio range. It can improve almost all digital sources and is ideal for Digital Streaming. It can also be partnered with Cyrus CDxtSE+ and this combination makes for Cyrus’ very best CD player. The DAC-X has six digital inputs. Cyrus PSX-R upgradable.
DAC-XP+
The Cyrus DAC-XP+ is basically a combination of pre-amp and DAC-X+ and represents the best pre-amplifier Cyrus make. It has both digital and analogue inputs and represents an extremely high standard of performance as it places the least in the signal path but also makes the most of any digital signal. Cyrus PSX-R upgradable.
Power amplifiers
Cyrus make four power amplifiers; the six power, the Cyrus eight power, the Cyrus X-Power and the Cyrus Mono X’s. The range of performance is clearly audible.
